UmtilScrub is a privacy tool built by Umtil. This policy explains how the app handles your data. The short version: it doesn't.

No Data Collection

UmtilScrub does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry, and no server-side processing.

On-Device Processing

All metadata inspection and removal is performed entirely on your device using local file APIs. Your photos and videos never leave your phone. No media is uploaded to any server at any time.

Permissions

The app requests the following permissions solely to enable its core functionality:

• Photo library access — to select images for metadata removal
• Video library access — to select videos for metadata removal
• Save to library — to store cleaned files back to your device

Subscriptions

In-app subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). UmtilScrub does not have access to your payment information.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used is RevenueCat for subscription management. No other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising frameworks are included in the app.

Children's Privacy

UmtilScrub does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
